Open Eyes is a faith-based community organization that is working towards educating Montgomery County on the reality and danger of Substance Abuse.  We hope that our work will prevent Montgomery County from becoming blind to the existence of Substance Abuse in our county.  Our group is unashamedly Christian and believes that the ultimate answer to the problem of Substance Abuse and Addiction is a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

We at Open Eyes are proud to announce a community effort led andinitiated by our group to promote Family Weekend on Mother's Day weekend, May 9-11.  Something as simple as eating together with your children around a table can go a long way in preventing them from becoming a future substance abuser.  We are hoping all Montgomery County restaurants will give some discount to any whole family that comes in their establishment during that weeked.  Along the same lines, we encourage families to make a daily effort to eat, talk and pray together around their own kitchen table.  Please pray for Open Eyes and our community as we continue to work toward this goal.  While you're here please read the blogs, check out the links and consider becoming apart of this group known as Open Eyes.
